| From Coach Melinda Graves - Here are the girls at the basketball game today promoting awareness for MS. I’m proud of the girls because they all did research and found out what the disease was. They didn’t know. Asked why I wanted to do it? I told them exactly this, "because everyone knows about a Cancer but not MS, especially the young". | Coach Jackie Graf wrote, "The White Swan High School cheerleaders have started a dress closet. We accept donations of formal dresses from students and community members, have them cleaned and then girls at our school can rent the dress for a $10 fee (to cover the cost of cleaning). We started this two weeks before prom and had 5 girls use. The cheerleaders are responsible for taking inventory, checking out dresses and making sure they get returned." |  |

This event was to promote awareness for heart disease. The cheerleaders encouraged and cheered on the walkers, runners and joggers for several hours. They wore red shirts for heart disease and were there to motivate and spread the SPIRIT!! | |||
